Septorhinoplasty

Enhance your facial harmony and breathing function with septorhinoplasty.

What is Septorhinoplasty?

Septorhinoplasty is a transformative procedure that can improve both the aesthetic appearance and functional capability of your nose. Whether you’re seeking a solution for breathing difficulties or desiring a more balanced facial profile, septorhinoplasty may be the answer you’ve been looking for.

How Does Septorhinoplasty Work?

Septorhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that addresses structural issues within the nose, correcting deformities of the septum and reshaping the external nasal structures. The goal is to achieve a harmonious balance between the nose and the surrounding facial features, while simultaneously enhancing breathing function.

Can Septorhinoplasty Help Me?

Septorhinoplasty can address a wide range of concerns. From correcting a deviated septum that causes breathing problems to refining the nasal shape and size, this procedure offers a personalized approach tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Why Choose Septorhinoplasty?

One of the primary advantages of septorhinoplasty is its ability to enhance both form and function. By improving the internal nasal structure, the procedure can alleviate nasal obstructions, allowing for better airflow and increased comfort. Simultaneously, the external changes made during surgery can significantly enhance your facial aesthetics, creating a nose that complements your features and boosts your self-confidence.

How Does the Consultation Process Work?

Septorhinoplasty is a highly individualized procedure. Each patient has their own concerns and goals, requiring a customized surgical plan. Our team takes a specialized approach to ensure optimized form and function.

During your consultation process, our Board-Certified rhinologist, Dr. Parul Goyal, will examine the inside of your nose to assess its function and structural anatomy. You will also see our Board-Certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Lindsey Goyal who will assess the external aspects of your anatomy. Our goal is to thoroughly assess both internal and external aspects of your nose to help develop a fully customized approach. During the consultation process, both surgeons will discuss your expectations and explain the surgical techniques that may be employed to achieve optimal results.

How Does the Surgery Work?

In terms of the procedure itself, septorhinoplasty is typically performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. You will have completely hidden incisions on the inside of the nose. You may also have a tiny discreet incision under the tip of the nose. Through these incisions, the surgeon gains access to the underlying structures, allowing for precise reshaping and restructuring. Once the necessary corrections have been made, the incisions are meticulously closed.

Recovery from septorhinoplasty varies from patient to patient. Most individuals can expect some swelling and bruising in the days following surgery. You may need to wear a nasal splint temporarily to support the newly shaped nose. While initial results will be visible soon after the procedure, it may take several months for the full effects of the surgery to become apparent. Trace amounts of swelling may last for up to a year after the surgery.

We prioritize patient satisfaction and safety above all else. Our team of dedicated professionals will guide you through every step of the septorhinoplasty process, ensuring that you are well-informed, comfortable, and confident throughout your journey.

If you are considering septorhinoplasty, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with our experienced Board-Certified surgeons.
